Salt and Stone Review

The Salt and Stone podcast is like a hybrid of the TV show This Is Us, and the album The Carters. In one corner, you have host Jillian Mele. She’s the sweetest woman ever with a heart of gold, who loves telling stories and loves educating others about things that we take for granted. Then in the other corner you have host Michelle St. John. She’s sarcastic as hell and has no problem making fun of herself as well as others if it means keeping things light and funny. The two hosts share a producer in Larry Grossman; he works with both of them to edit their episodes together into one cohesive whole each week. He also helps them book guests when they need someone to talk about something interesting or random enough to capture the listeners’ attention but not so out there that they turn off listeners before they even get to the end of the episode. We may not know everything about everyone on The Salt and Stone podcast but their passion for what they do shines through every time we listen to their episodes.
